Don founded LECGI in 2004 and now oversees two locations, our main office in Louisville and our Houston office. Don holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Louisville and carries nearly 30 years of experience in structural design. Don enjoys challenging projects, like a particular pipe rack design he performed in 2013 that required a new pipe rack amidst existing pipe rack supports, structural steel, and foundations. Don also enjoys HRSG structural design, of which he has done quite a few. Outside of being a skilled engineer, Don is an avid tennis player and loves golfing and hiking. Don always encourages those around him to continue learning, both personally and professionally.

Lokman has over a decade of experience in structural engineering, including seismic design, wind load design, aluminum design, and connection design. Lokman prides herself on being a woman in STEM and hopes to encourage others to pursue this career path. Lokman graduated from the University of Louisville with a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering. She loves to cook and artfully balances being a full-time engineer and a full-time mom.

Lisa has a background in Manufacturing and Consulting that includes R&D, production design, material selection, agency approval, code design, cost reduction, and project management. She has worked in chemical, food & beverage, personal care, material handling, & power industries. She holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and an A.A.S in Mechanical Engineering Technology, both from the University of Louisville. Lisa pretends to be an athlete, is in love with dogs, and is a recovering serial volunteer.

Gerald has many years of experience working with Heat Recovery Steam Generators and Stone Countertops. He has held many titles throughout his career from Drafter to Operations Manager. Graduated from ITT Tech. in 1997 with an Associates of Applied Science. He is active in his community through Church and volunteering. His favorite volunteer work is in construction such as Habitat for Humanity or rebuilding for storm victims.

Heather wears many coats, from HR to Project Administration to Estimation. Heather graduated from the University of Louisville with a Bachelor of the Arts in English and has over a decade of customer service and administrative experience. An avid reader and occasional writer, Heather also enjoys live music and showing everyone pictures of her pet rabbit.
